Digital mucous cysts (Digital mucous cyst) என்பது கையின் விரல்களில் காணப்படும் ஒரு வகை காங்லியன் சிஸ்ட் (ganglion cyst) ஆகும். Ganglion என்பது ஒரு மென்மையான திசு கட்டி (soft tissue tumor) ஆகும், இது மூட்டு அல்லது தண்டு அருகில் உருவாகிறது. Digital mucous cyst குறிப்பாக distal interphalangeal joint (DIP joint) இன் பின்புறத்தில் (dorsum) தோன்றுகிறது. இவை பொதுவாக DIP மூட்டின் அடிப்பகுதியில் உள்ள ஆஸ்டியோஆர்த்ரைடிஸ் (osteoarthritis) உடன் தொடர்புடையவை.

A digital mucous cyst is a ganglion that arises from the dorsum of the distal interphalangeal joint (DIP joint). Digital mucous cysts commonly have an association with underlying DIP joint osteoarthritis.
